Opportunity: The City of Albany’s Development Information Services Team is looking for an enthusiastic and customer focused individual to take up the role of Information Officer. The role is Temporary, Full-Time (approximately 12 months with the possibility of extension). Part-Time opportunities may also be available.
Reporting to the Team Leader – Development Information Services, this dynamic role will see you responsible for, but not limited to providing administrative support to the Development Services Team by responding to enquiries, receiving and reviewing applications and providing information to customers about processes and planning and building requirements.
Desired Skills and Experience
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
- Experience working in a customer service and/ or administration position;
- Experience or understanding of local government and/or the building and planning industries;
- Experience working within busy team environment;
- Good time and organisational skills with the ability to be efficient, prioritise and schedule your own work to achieve deadlines; and
- Strong computer literacy and data entry skills required.
- Microsoft Word, Excel and outlook proficiency required.
