This is a Fixed Term Part Time/Sessional appointment for up to 5 years at 16 hours per fortnight, with the possibility of extension.

Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
Position Profile: This role within Community Health in a Virtual Environment (Co-HIVE) provides collaborative clinical leadership to ensure personalised, safe, effective and timely patient care for all patients of the specialty. This role:
- Ensures efficient use of human and physical resources.
- Leads initiatives to improve the quality of patient care in line with hospital wide priorities and minimise adverse events and mitigate clinical risks.
- Motivates and mentors all levels of the clinical ream especially medical staff and ensures junior medical staff are appropriately supervised at all times.
- Facilitates multidisciplinary coordination of patient care and promotes education and research.
The position is accountable to the Service Co-Directors for the specialty meeting the hospital’s strategic initiatives and Key Performance Indicators as outlined in the agreed annual RPH operational plan.
