Description:
Our client is a global telco vendor. They are looking forward to hire Dedicated HSE Advisor for a Railway project.
- Ensure all site activities are being carried out in accordance with the Nokia and Client Safety Management Systems.
- Oversee, support and manage any safety investigations (ICAMS) and/or Safeworking breaches.
- Direct communication with the PTA Safety Representative and all other relevant parties on all WHS matters.
- Attend PTA WHS meetings, toolboxes and site prestarts.
- Facilitate safety stand downs with all stakeholders.
- Assist in the identification and development of safe systems of work for high risk activities.
- Provide guidance in hazard control and Safeworking requirements.
- Offer support and advice in mitigating risks and hazards.
- Key customer contact for on-site HSE related inspections, identified risks or issues.
- Complete all Verification of Competencies (VOC) for site personnel.
- On call to support site works both in and out of hours works.
- Site acceptance of all plant and equipment to be utilised on site.
- Permit issue for all high risk works.
- Ensuring adherence to the Environmental Policies of all relevant stakeholders.
- Look for opportunities to improve the accuracy, efficiency and effectiveness of standards, guidelines, policies and process, and ensure compliance with all applicable policies and procedures.
- Identify and mitigate risk.
- Continually reinforce requirement to conduct activities in accordance with Client policies & procedures, as well as legislative requirements.
- Act in accordance with and as a role model for the Code of Conduct, HSE culture and the Values.
- Keeping abreast of changes to legislation and communicate such changes to management.
- Contribute to project, discipline and business unit improvement ideas.
- Recommend corrective actions that focus on systematic improvement and transferable lessons.
