Seeking an Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to join our purpose built centre in West Hoxton

Little Zak's Academy is privately owned and family run. Our aim is to provide early childhood care and education in a safe, welcoming and nurturing environment.

Our staff are dedicated professionals who value the importance of maintaining an optimum level of care and education for all children. We select our staff based on knowledge and values, vision for children and learning, and commitment to families.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Full Time Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to join our team at our beautiful centre located in West Hoxton.


About you
  • Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA Recognised)
  • Practical knowledge of National Quality Standards
  • Passion and commitment to providing high quality Early Childhood Education
  • Prior experience in a similar role within Early Childhood Education
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Current First Aid Certificate, including Asthma and Anaphylaxis
  • Current Working with Children Check

  • Lead and mentor educators to achieve excellence
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain strong professional relationships
  • Lead and develop the team to deliver a high-quality cycle of planning, curriculum, and outcomes for each child
  • Ensure that all documentation of children's learning is visible and accessible to families, and contains high-quality information to meet regulatory requirements
  • Create a friendly, secure, stimulating and interactive learning environment
  • Lead by example and ensure positive interactions between educators and other members of the centre
  • Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all times
