Mental Health - Inpatient Unit RN | Mackay- $55-$65/hour base rate (depending on experience) + super + penalties
- Contract available from 29th April - 30th June
- Rotating 8- and 12-hour shifts, 80 hours per fortnight
- Must have Mental Health case inpatient and nursing experience
- BLS required
- On-site accommodation and travel will be provided.
The Mackay Mental Health Inpatient Unit aims to provide a safe service that protects and safeguards the rights of individuals with mental health issues, whilst supporting them through their recovery. The Mental Health Unit is located at the Mackay Base Hospital and is a 20 bed Low Dependency Unit and a 4 bed High Dependency Unit.
Mackay offers a mix of natural beauty, economic diversity, and a welcoming community. It serves as a gateway to the Great Barrier Reef and provides opportunities for outdoor adventures, cultural exploration, and a taste of the region's rich sugar cane heritage.
