The Company
Robert Half is currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to start at short notice on an initial 6-month temporary contract.
Our client is a market leading, nationally recognised organisation, who prides itself on having a collaborative and supportive work environment.
This role requires 1 day working on site at a fantastic office location which is walking distance from Flinders Street Station. The remaining 4 days can be fully work from home.
The Role
Reporting to a supporting Credit Manager and working as part of a team, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting collection calls with numerous clients and recording given information on SAP
- Reconciling client accounts
- Negotiating payment plans
- Running credit checks and approving credit applications for new customers
- Reviewing and approving the daily Cash on Delivery (COD) clients
- Running various reports, including an ATB analysis report detailing the exact gain/loss for all accounts each week.
- Managing claims and queries,
- Managing risk assessments,
- Creating strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will be someone who has very strong credit control experience and is passionate about building relationships with others. You will also be an exceptional communicator on all levels, possess excellent organisational skills and have a strong work ethic which will allow you to thrive working in this fast-paced environment.
Previous experience with SAP is essential, combined with an intermediate level of Excel skills (pivot tables/ V-lookups).
