Located in the heart of the Sunshine Coast, this pharmacy is located in a small shopping precinct. It is is not just a workplace, but a community hub that prides itself on enriching the lives of its customers. With ample parking and accessible public transport, this northern Sunshine Coast location embodies the best of coastal living with its stunning beaches, vibrant community, and outdoor lifestyle.
As the Managing Pharmacist , you'll play a pivotal role in this community-focused pharmacy. Your responsibilities will include:
- Engaging and advising customers and patients to enhance their health outcomes.
- Actively implementing Pharmacy Practice Agreement (PPA) programs and embracing forward dispensing to improve patient care.
- Leading and motivating your team, while being supported by the dedicated local owner.
Your work environment:
- Computer System: Fred Nxt
- Script Trade: Light script load - lots of time to counsel.
- Work Hours: 38 hrs/week, with a shared weekend roster.
Your team:
- Working alongside 2 other pharmacists.
- Supported by 2 Dispensary Technicians, 4 Front-of-Shop staff, and 1 other specialised health professional.
- Current registration as a Pharmacist with AHPRA.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a passion for community pharmacy.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of fostering a supportive and motivational team environment.
- Experience in PPA programs and forward dispensing is highly regarded.
Hourly rates of $50/hr Mon-Fri, $55/hr Sat, $65/hr Sun, and $85/hr on Public Holidays, plus superannuation. Relocation assistance may be negotiable for the right candidate.
