Whether you're experienced in the Education or childcare sector, have done some babysitting, this is the first time you're thinking about working with children, or anything in between, THIS is the role for you!
This permanent part-time OSHC Assistant Coordinator role (28 hours per week) allows you to help children navigate their tomorrow, while having a true work / life balance with the middle of your days and nights free!
You will be working Monday to Friday 7 : 00am - 9 : 00am and 2 : 15pm - 5 : 30pm, PLUS you'll be paid an addition nearly 2 hours of admin each week to ensure you're set up for success.
About the role
Co-managing a team of Educators, you’ll have the perfect balance of support and leadership opportunities. You will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years, with the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.
- Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into!
- Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents
- Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management
- Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration

We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have :
- Enjoy working with kids
- Strong and clear communication
- Team player with a desire to become a service leader
- Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it!) and a state check for working with children
- Qualified to work in OSHC under ACECQA regulations (check out the ACECQA website for more info)
