Description:
Main responsibilities for the incoming Accountant will include:
- Responsible for month end closing
- Maintenance of the general ledger, creation of journals and reviewing financial inputs for accuracy.
- Work closely with the Business Analyst to ensure that reporting is aligned throughout the business.
- Collecting and analysing data used in preparation for providing reports and analysis
- Performing monthly reconciliations, investigate and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner
- Participate in scheduled and unscheduled reviews and audits, both internal and external
Requirements:
- CA/CPA or partly qualified
- Experience with an ERP ideal
- Experience in a similar role
- Tertiary qualified
- Exposure to a large, complex product based industry ideal
