Description:
As Quality Manager you will be responsible for the design, deployment and then implementation of a quality management programme from quality assurance to control.
This could look like:
- Establishing and defining product quality standards
- Developing quality processes and procedures
- Working closely with suppliers to ensure quality of product
- Continuous improvement activities
- Setting up quality control and inspection processes
- Working with and managing performance of 3rd party suppliers
- Coach and lead Quality team as it grows
Requirements:
Our ideal candidate comes previous experience setting up a quality system and processes. Alternatively to know what good looks like and are keen to take the next step in your career. You will also have:
- At least 5 years experience at a Quality Manager level, ideally in cosmetics but we are open to the wellness/lifestyle or FMCG industry also
- Strong analytical skills and critical thinking
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- In depth understanding of quality - AQL, root cause analysis, capa management
- Ability t travel domestic and internationally as required
- Highly desirable is experience performing supplier audits and a qualification in chemistry/engineering or quality management
