About The Opportunity

As the Accountant, you will be focused on delivering accurate and timely reporting on the performance of the Bank.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Balance sheet management
  • Reconciliations
  • Ability to work with the greater finance team on other key operational processes and plans


You will work closely with your team as well as other stakeholders in the Bank and will be integral to share and gain insight to ensure the Bank is making well-informed financial decision.

You will be part of a six (6) person strong team that focuses on delivering to the business their responsibilities to a high standard. Skills in numeracy, use of systems, communication and troubleshooting will be invaluable.

Whilst advantageous, it is not essential for you to have a background in financial operations of a Bank. What is most important is that your personal values align with our culture; possessing a positive can-do attitude and the ability to manage a highly successful finance operation.

This role provides career opportunities to other back-office functions in a financial institution.

A Day in the Life of the Accountant

  • Work as a team with fellow finance professionals to complete team responsibilities on time and accurately
  • Exposure to financial accounting daily
  • Access and extract information from various systems to analyse performance and transactions
  • Regularly updating knowledge about accounting and other regulation changes
  • Regularly communicate to colleagues across the business and with third parties.
  • Be brave and work with other departments to educate, better understand their area and share financial insight.
