We are seeking people with experience working with mobile crushers and keen for a new full time role working FIFO in a small dedicated team.
About Destec Destec is a proudly Western Australian owned and operated company with a fast-growing client base that provides ore processing and materials handling services to the mining industry across Western Australia.We take pride in innovation through designing, constructing, building, maintaining and operating our own crushing and screening plants for Tier 1 mining sites.
About the role :
Destec has recently commenced mining operations at our new Poondano Iron Ore Project in the Pilbara, located approximately 20km north of Port Headland, with the camp located approximately 6km from site.
The mining team are using excavators fitted with rock breakers to win the in-situ iron ore loading the ROM material into articulated dump trucks for transport. The ROM material is then loaded into a road train for transport approximately 10 km to the east where our crushing plant is located.
From there it will be feed into the mobile crushing and screening plant by a CAT 982 Loader to produce a lump and fines iron ore products.
We are currently seeking Mobile Crusher / Loader Operators with experience operating and maintaining a mobile crushing plant, as well as experience operating loader to feed crusher.
This role is offered FIFO ex Perth on a 2/1 roster on a full time salary of $152,725 per annum.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working with mobile crushers and related equipment.
- Proven experience operating loaders
- Leading Hand experience highly desirable
- Hold a current and valid driver’s licence
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical assessment including a drug & alcohol screen
- Ability to provide/obtain a police clearance
- Frequent flyer points
