Our client, a leading organisation in the energy sector, dedicated to innovation and sustainability, is seeking a talented Technical Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in enhancing their technology landscape.

Position Overview:
As a Technical Business Analyst, you will be at the forefront of driving technical excellence and process improvement initiatives within their retail energy program of work. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to analyse business requirements, continuous process improvement, identify opportunities for optimisation, and implement innovative solutions to enhance trading performance.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements.
- Utilise strong technical understanding to translate business needs into technical specifications and user stories.
- Conduct thorough analysis of existing processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
- Work closely with development teams to implement enhancements and new features within the trading platform.
- Perform system testing and validation to ensure the quality and reliability of implemented solutions.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for platform issues, working to resolve technical challenges in a timely manner.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise processes and maximise performance.
Requirements:
- Tertiary Qualifications in a relevant field.
- Proven experience working as a Business Analyst or similar role within the energy sector, preferably in retail energy or energy trading.
- Strong technical background with a deep understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
- Experience with energy trading platforms or similar financial trading systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated track record of driving process improvement initiatives and implementing innovative solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
