Our Client manufactures and supply's high quality, complex components to support some of the worlds' leading innovators. With supplying over 40 countries specialising in automotive, healthcare, and medical, renewable energy, IoT, mining, defence and agriculture.

Due to recent expansion an opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Fitter to join their established team.

The Role:

To service and maintain manufacturing equipment and plant services as required by planned work schedules or as directed by the Plant Engineering Senior Supervisor or Plant Services leading hands.



Operational Duties:

  • Address equipment breakdowns to minimise downtime.
  • Perform assigned projects in conjunction with other appointed persons.
  • Be involved in and supportive of departmental and company improvement processes.
  • Record work using documentation procedures and computer systems as required.
  • Assist in the diagnosis, analysis, and rectification of technical problems.
  • Actively be involved in competency and plant familiarity training.
  • Perform non-trade tasks incidental to his/her work.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities in accordance with planned work schedules.
  • Provide relevant experience and input into the company's mechanical standards, departmental projects, plant improvement projects and new product introductions.



Safety Performance Duties

  • Take reasonable care for own health and safety and those who could be impacted by their actions.
  • Comply with WHS instructions and follow processes and procedures of the workplace including the use of equipment provided to protect health and safety.
  • Report all potential hazards, incidents, near misses and injuries.
  • Participate in rehabilitation and return to work programs when required.
  • Successfully complete colour blindness assessment (for selected departments).



What you need:


  • Must have a mechanical trade
  • Knowledge of plastic injection process and fluid power systems preferred
