Leading Hand Service Crew - 8 / 6d,7 / 7n & 2 / 1 rosters Mining - Operations (Mining, Resources & Energy) Full time Casual flat rate of $66 p / h + super on all hours Taurus is a privately owned and operated specialist mining supplier with various clients around Australia.
On behalf of one of our valued clients we are seeking an experienced Underground Leading Hand Service Crew for their new contract.
This position is temp to perm with our client with potential for career progression. Duties : 1. Lead a team of Service Crew workers through their day-to-day operations.
2. Provide a high level of experience and knowledge in training to other crew members. 3. Extend ventilation services to areas where needed, which includes hanging ventilation bags and moving / installing secondary fans.
4. Install power services for equipment in mine according to procedures. 5. Extend water and air services to areas of mine where needed.
6. Maintain and install pumps to required areas of Mine. 7. Operate IT (Integrated Tool Carrier) for mine servicing in a safe manner.
To be considered for this position you must be able to demonstrate the following; Experience as a Leading Hand Service Crew, 12 months is preferred Working at Heights Certificate.
First Aid Certificate A National Police Clearance under 6 months will be required. Manual WA Drivers Licence A commitment to your own safety and those who work with you.
Successful candidates will also be required to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test. What's in it for you?
Casual flat rate of $66 per hour plus super on all hours Brand new project. 12 hour shifts Weekly pays. 8 / 6d, 7 / 7n or 2 / 1 roster is on offer.
Roles are FIFO from Perth only. Candidates from Kalgoorlie or Esperance are able to drive in at own expense. Permanent roles with our client are on offer after a short labour hire period.
