THE OPPORTUNITY

Salary: $87,716 - $96,613 per annum pro rata + 11% super + annual leave loading (depending on qualifications and experience).
Time Fraction: Full Time, 1 EFT.
Location: Chadstone campus.
WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.
Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Police Check.
Position Status: Ongoing contract of employment, with a 6-month qualifying period.

The Department of Human Resources Employee Experience is currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to effectively develop, implement, maintain, and support professional development and capability strategies.

You will also be involved with the Institute’s capability and professional development planning and reviewing and analysing performance, providing progress reports, briefing papers, and relevant documentation, and taking part in designated HR projects relevant to professional development.

Other duties include collaborating with stakeholders to develop targeted professional development programs and action plans and working with the HR officer to manage, maintain, and administer the HR LMS modules just to name a few.

ABOUT YOU

  • Degree and/or post-graduate qualifications in human resource management or related discipline and relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in:
    • a range of human resources and professional development practices
    • Led, planned and managed capability and professional development programs to meet identified needs including management of resources and facilities to achieve quality outcomes
    • the establishment and management of projects related to capability and professional development, including setting priorities that may have competing demands
    • the use of online HR Management systems, including the development and implementation of learning management systems
    • reporting against relevant strategic and operational plans and targets including the formulation of recommendations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills and a demonstrated ability to present high-quality reports and information and to relate professionally to stakeholders.
  • High-level organisational and work planning abilities, specifically the ability to arrange and set priorities consistent with strategic and operational objectives.
  • Highly developed consulting, influencing, relationship building, and stakeholder management skills.
