Description:
Our Large Federal Government client has a requirement for a Software Developer who is required to develop and integrate software employing an Agile Software Development Methodology (SDM). The role includes developing software, integrating Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) and Government Off the Shelf (GOTS) software, documenting technical processes and assisting with testing and deployment.Skills and Knowledge:
- Demonstrated experience in development languages/frameworks such as Python, Java, Java Messaging Service, Javascript/ Typescript, J2EE, RESTful web services, Django and Ruby, Kubernetes, OpenShift.
- Demonstrated experience using Puppet, Ansible and Docker automation tools.
- Demonstrated experience using React.
- Monitor systems and infrastructure, and provide assistance with support requests to fix and troubleshoot issues.
- Implement and maintain automated testing. Provide feedback on implementation and design aspects as required from other areas.
- Database design and implementation for operational systems.
Contract terms: 30 June 2025
SFIA level required: The Specified Person will be expected to demonstrate attributes of SFIA Level of Responsibility 4.
Security Requirements: Current Top-Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) security clearance is strongly preferred, however candidates who have held a TSPV in the previous 12-month period (which has since been downgraded) may be considered.
