The Director of Transformation has an impressive background in technology programs, driving strategic initiatives and is striving to achieve a more positive customer experience, enhance user experience and increase compliance and controls in the business. She has an amazing management style and is very focused on helping staff grow and develop in unity with cross functional engagement.

With a strong emphasis on operational excellence, we are seeking a talented Head of Transformation to join our technology and digital team and focus on the strategic planning of this transformation, and the program delivery around our internal digital "ways of working" transformation.

The Role

Responsibilities

Reporting into the Director of Transformation, we are seeking a dynamic and strategic individual to drive the transformation and optimisation of our internal ways of working within the Digital and Technology division. As the Head of Transformation, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the planning of our digital strategy, operational planning, and transformation initiatives. Leveraging best practice methodologies, you will establish and refine processes to drive the timely design, execution, and review of our technology roadmap while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and change management practices. Additionally, you will lead analytical research activities to support strategic decision-making, facilitate strategic planning sessions, and establish performance frameworks to monitor progress against business objectives, benefits realisation and key results. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Drive the implementation and maintenance of best practice strategic planning processes, including OKR business planning cycles.
  • Coordinate the integration of strategic planning with enterprise architecture and project portfolio management processes.
  • Lead analytical research activities to support strategic technology roadmap planning and investment prioritisation.
  • Develop and maintain strategic business-IT aligned roadmaps and operational work plans.
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and strategy planning sessions with key stakeholders.
  • Establish a performance and reporting framework to assess progress and effectiveness of strategic initiatives.
  • Establish and refine transformational "ways of working" within the internal digital and technology team.
  • Delivery of internal transformation to provide more effective technology delivery capability within the organisation.

This is a broad role, that aligns the entirety of a strategic digital transformation to the business strategic goals.

Your Profile

You are a highly educated and experienced professional with an education in ICT, business, finance, economics, or related fields, ideally complemented by an MBA or equivalent technology/strategy credentials. With a background in technology, IT governance, or strategic/operational IT planning, you bring a deep understanding of digital transformations and technology platforms. You excel in strategic analysis, OKR management, and process improvement frameworks, and have a track record of designing and implementing complex strategic transformation programs. As a seasoned people influencer, you possess exceptional coaching and development skills, coupled with strong analytical capabilities and a passion for evidence-based decision-making. You thrive on fostering cultures of agility, transparency, and continuous learning, working collaboratively with diverse teams to achieve common goals.
