Your new company

Hays have partnered with a thriving state government department in Brisbane's north to appoint an experienced Business Analyst to support a significant Information and Content Management project. Your new role

As the Business Analyst, you will work alongside the existing team of BA's to build upon the current state information, develop business process maps, and become an SME on this transition to a new enterprise content management platform. Your day-to-day will be varied, but some of your core duties will involve:
  • Provide leadership and hands-on BA skills to ensure successful project delivery, obtaining input from and providing assistance to business areas for the current and future state mapping
  • Consulting with clients, stakeholders, and end-users in relation to all aspects of this project, as well as defining with the business and technical teams any necessary use cases to support ECM solution evaluations, proof of concepts etc.
  • Manage the resolution of business-related issues, including the researching of policy, procedures, assessment of impacts, development of options, and providing recommendations to project stakeholders

What you'll need to succeed

You will be an experienced Business Analyst, with demonstrated working experience on enterprise level ICT projects within a complex government/enterprise environment. You'll ideally possess previous experience on Information Management projects, with the ability to negotiate and build consensus amongst differing stakeholder groups and exceptional interpersonal skills. Your attention to detail and analytical skills will be second to none, while your adaptability under pressure sets you apart from your peers.

What you'll get in return

You'll be offered an initial 5-month contract, with 3 x 12-month extensions on offer following this. You will work alongside an established and well-respected team of project professionals, that will support you in your endeavours in this project and your professional development. You'll also be remunerated at a daily rate between $800 - $1000/day including superannuation or plus GST.
