Description:
- Master Data Management (MDM): Develop and execute strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of master data throughout the organisation.
- Data Analysis: Perform thorough data analysis to identify issues, anomalies, and inconsistencies, and suggest appropriate corrective measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to grasp business needs and establish data standards, governance policies, and procedures for master data management.
- Assess existing master data management systems, tools, and processes, and pinpoint areas for improvement.
- Work with IT teams to devise and implement data integration strategies and solutions for smoother data flow across different systems and platforms.
- Develop a roadmap to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of master data, enabling efficient business operations and informed decision-making.
Requirements:
- Background in computer science, information management, business administration, or related fields.
- Demonstrated experience as a Master Data Specialist or similar role, particularly in complex master data management projects.
- Thorough understanding of master data management principles, concepts, and best practices.
- Proficiency in data analysis, data quality assessment, and data cleansing techniques.
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks and regulatory compliance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to decipher complex data sets and identify data quality issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Project management skills, along with the ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
