Temp to perm opportunity for an experienced AR Officer to break into a large, blue-chip Wholesale/Distribution company, starting ASAP.

Privately owned, the company’s continued double-digit growth over the last 5 years has been attributed by acquisitions and expanding its products to a wider range of market segments and branch networks.
The Role
Sitting within the close-knit large AR team and reporting to the AR Manager, this busy temp with view to permanent role will enable you to utilise your strong collections ability to manage a busy ledger with high volume accounts, both large and small. Main tasks as outlined below;
- Allocations
- Credit claims
- Invoicing
- Receipting
- Maintaining a large ledger of both small and large accounts
- Creating new accounts
- Collections of overdue accounts
- Dispute resolution
- Banking
- Dealing with credit queries
- Identifying credit risk
- Other ad-hoc duties as required by AR Manager
Ideally you will have 2-3 years’ experience in an end to end AR role with a small, medium or large business. You will be looking to take that next step in your AR/Credit career to get into a larger company with high volume accounts.
You will also need to obtain the following attributes:
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to develop relationships with key customer contacts
- High attention to detail
- Excellent problem solving/investigative skills
- Ability to work quickly and accurately to deadlines
- Hard working team player
