Our diverse workforce delivers modern hot water, steam and furnace solutions and services to industrial and commercial businesses across Australia.
We provide solution and energy efficiency consulting, system design and Project Management covering EPC, and maintenance across all elements of steam and hot water infrastructure. We also deliver specialist industry training to upskill operators and technicians in organisations that have their boiler solutions.
The job
State Service Managers are intrinsic to the ongoing success of the O’Brien business and their duties are broad. Some of your remit will include:
- Working with key customers to ensure they receive accurate and timely technician service and support.
- Continuous improvement across our service and maintenance functions.
- Apply sound financial management and reporting.
- Leadership, team development and growth.
- Service quality, assurance, client satisfaction and engagement.
- Scheduling, Workforce Management & Resource Planning.
- Ensuring that safety is an absolute priority.
You will be responsible for contingency planning for emergencies, and continuously improving our rapid response capability.
Requirements
We want someone who genuinely wants to make a difference and is passionate about Service, Management and Leadership. You will need to know that anything is possible and have a confident and positive outlook. Importantly, you must enjoy and contribute to a diverse and inclusive environment. A passion for industrial engineering and energy efficiency will serve you well.
This position will suit someone with at least 10 years of service management and operations, coordination, and planning experience. A qualified trade or engineering background will be hand be handy. You will require interpersonal and communication skills commensurate with the level of this position.
Intra and interstate travel, with some overnight stays is a part of this job. A valid driver’s license is essential. This position will be based at our office in Parkinson, Qld.
