Key Responsibilities
- Provide supervisory medical care to patients in the transitional phase, including assessment, treatment, and follow-up.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
- Support and supervise Nursing and allied health staff.
- Participate in clinical meetings, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Be available for on-call duties and weekend shifts as required.
- Medical degree from a recognised institution.
- Full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Vocational registration trained GP (e.g.RACGP).
- Demonstrated clinical competence and experience in a hospital or similar setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and quality improvement.
- Compliance with all mandatory training, certifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Vaccination against COVID-19 and influenza.
- Australian Workers Rights.
