Description:
Permanent full-time position as a Parts and Inventory Specialist within an established family owned construction business in the Darwin region.
For a Workshop Procurement Assistant, Parts Coordinator, or Parts and Operations Coordinator interested in Ordering and collecting parts for servicing and repairs of the company fleet.
- Requires previous experience with heavy vehicle parts and good computer skills

A normal day includes
- Working as part of a team and assist with manual tasks as needed
- Utilize computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel, for various tasks
- Handle mid to high volume of phone calls with internal staff and suppliers.
- Maintain and organize the internal parts / store, including stock control and inventory
- Ordering and collecting parts and consumables for servicing and repairs of the company fleet
- Update and perform data entry for internal company documentation, such as Fleet Service spreadsheet and job card spreadsheet
- Manage bulk diesel for company use, including monitoring usage, obtaining quotes, and organizing delivery
You will be working Monday to Friday 7am-5pm + Half Day Saturday

You will need
- General admin experience
- Fantastic organizational skills
- Knowledge of machinery related parts
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Past experience within a diesel workshop or similar
- Experience communicating and negotiating with suppliers
- competent with Microsoft Excel and general computer programs
