Work Location : Iron Bridge - Fortescue’s Iron Bridge site is located on the traditional lands of the Nyamal people.
Roster : 7D7N7R FIFO ex Perth or DIDO ex Port Hedland
Responsible for the efficient operation of the Ore Processing Facility, the Process Operator role is key to the daily running of the crushing plant, ore processing plant and all associated equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Commitment towards safety and demonstrate strong company values
- Perform efficient operation of the ore processing facility and follow standard work instructions
- Conduct daily inspections of process equipment and reporting
- Provide quality shift handovers, verbal, electronic and maintain daily logs
- Identification of continuous improvement opportunities
- Establish collaborative team environment with positive communication skills
- Identify hazards in the work environment and resolve them in an efficient and timely manner
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience operating large scale wet or dry processing plants
- Excellent communication skills via 2-way radio
- High safety standards and development of work instructions
- Ability to risk assess and apply controls
- Exposure to control room applications advantageous
- Mobile plant experience Front End Loader, Skid Steer, Overhead Crane and Telehandler desirable
