- Monitoring crops (grapes) for pests and disease, and recommending an appropriate treatment by way of a spray program or other means.
- Monitoring crops (grapes) for bird pressure, and recommending an appropriate treatment by way of netting or other means.
- Counting buds for fertility.
- Testing bunch weights to calculate crop estimates (estimated yields / tonnes per hectare).
