A unique opportunity to join an established organisation as a Town Planner | Brisbane CBD Location | $52-$55 per hour + Super
We are currently seeking an experienced Town Planner to provide a comprehensive range of services and advice for our clients extensive property portfolio. In this capacity, you will be entrusted with individual projects, collaborating with the team to foster innovation and fulfill the quintessential role of a town planner – problem-solving.Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing development applications for both new and existing clients in a collaborative and supportive team environment, distinguished by a strong cultural ethos, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to meeting the needs of our local community in Queensland.
Your typical day-to-day activities will include:
1. Preparation, submission, and management of new and existing town planning applications.
2. Cultivating strong client relationships and overseeing projects of varying sizes.
3. Reviewing plans in coordination with team members, external consultants, and local council officials.
4. Collaborating within a team to address and resolve development challenges.
5. Examination of local and state government policies pertinent to legislation.
6. Engaging with Senior Planning Officers and stakeholders on complex town planning matters related to our property portfolio department.

- A recognized degree or qualification endorsed by the Planning Institute of Australia.
- Proficiency in strategic planning.
- Familiarity with the Planning Act 2017.

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work autonomously.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
