The company
A leading tier 1 contractor is looking for a hard working compliance professional to join their Workforce Readiness team. This team is in relation to one of Australia's largest telecommunication infrastructure projects to date. This position is based in the Sydney Olympic Park.
Position purpose
This Sydney based position is to support the operations teams overseeing a national telecommunications project. The Workforce Readiness and Compliance team is responsible for the engagement and on-going compliance of all subcontractors in relation to the project.
The team works in partnership with the Telecommunication Operations Team and support services to ensure timely and efficient delivery of on-boarding, compliance management and off-boarding of all subcontractors in relation to the project. With the high profile of this project the skill set, WHS and compliance of all subcontractors is of up most importance to ensure that field operations run smoothly.
This requires a professional who is process focused with strong written and verbal communication skills.
The role
- Liaising daily with subcontractor and operations professionals to ensure timely delivery
- Managing end to end application process of new subcontractors
- On-boarding of new subcontractors (licenses, insurances, applications)
- Creating reports and updating regularly to senior management
- Preparation and distribution of Welcome packs and essential equipment
- Provide guidance to new contractors throughout the on-boarding process
- Placement of EOI Adverts
Skills and experience
- Hardworking and able to deal with fast paced environments
- Ability to pick up processes quickly and efficiently
- Good/ Advanced level on Excel
- Report writing and updating
- Strong communication skills (both written and spoken)
- Ability to work to a deadline
- MUST have the ability to work from home

- Initial training will be site based- the organisation adheres to all new restrictions in place of COVID-19 and is deemed an essential service. Site based in Sydney Olympic Park
- We are looking for an immediate start
- You will be working as part of a team with 3 other professionals based in NSW
- This is a temp to permanent role therefore all applicants must have FULL WORKING RIGHTS (not suitable for WHV)
