Robert Half is currently recruiting an Accounts Assistant for a growing and nationally recognised health and wellbeing company. This is a 7 month maternity leave contract
Based out of the eastern suburbs of Melbourne and reporting to the accountant, this position is responsible for all Accounts Payable, assisting with month end duties and overseeing of Month-end duties.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to further develop already existing skills, or for an experienced Accounts Assistant to use their expertise to help achieve company goals!
The Role
Reporting to the Accountant and working with an interstate finance team, this role will require:
- High volume accounts payable
- Supplier stakeholder relationship skills
- Accounts receivable
- Reconciliations
- Month End duties
- Journals
- Ad-hoc duties as requested
Your Profile
To be successful you will have minimum of 2 years' experience in Accounts Payable and full working rights in Australia

- Interest in learning and developing or experience with ERP Systems
- Excellent Organisational Skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Process high volume
- Ability to work in a team or independently
- Able to start immediately
