Job Description

This position supports the digital engagement functions for the Rottnest Island Authority. The role supports the coordination and implementation of digital communications and digital engagement activities to achieve business, communication and marketing objectives.

Selection Criteria

Applicants should address the following essential criteria. These should be addressed in no more than three (3) pages in total. Desirable criteria will be assessed as required.

Essential

  1. Demonstrated recent experience in the application of digital platforms and technologies to achieve consumer marketing and communication objectives.

  2. Demonstrated recent knowledge and experience in website management and development, including the use of content management systems.

  3. Demonstrated well developed project management skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet concurrent deadlines on budget.

  4. Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate and collaborate with a variety of audiences, including stakeholders, digital agencies and creative agencies.

  5. Demonstrated recent experience with digital analytics platforms for monitoring and evaluating digital activities.

  6. Sound conceptual, analytical and research skills, including the ability to identify problems and propose appropriate solutions.

Desirable

  1. Behaviour that reflects Integrity, Collaboration, Accountability, Respect and Excellence.

  2. Experience in a senior digital coordinator role, preferably within a tourism or leisure brand context.

  3. Degree or qualification in Marketing or related field.

  4. Demonstrated knowledge of State Government processes.

Note: The successful applicant will be required to possess or obtain a current (issue date not older than 6 months) and satisfactory National Police Check prior to commencement.
