About the role
We are looking for a dynamic, highly organised person with a commitment to supporting the team of allied health clinicians in their work with pre-school aged children, carers and kindergarten services across inner and western Melbourne. The Administration Assistant provides an important role in supporting the provision of high-quality care and efficient management of service delivery. The position is responsible for a variety of administrative tasks including some aspects of service coordination and systems improvement.

Your duties include:

Support Team with Administrative duties as requested
Answer and direct phone calls, act as a point of contact for internal and external clients
Organise and schedules appointments
Liaise with other providers relevant to clients to ensure efficient, appropriate, and coordinated care

Our ideal candidate:

High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or other preferred
Proficiency with software programs including Excel
Strong organisational skills and time management, with the ability to multitask and prioritise

All appointments are made subject to a satisfactory Police Check, a Working With Children Check (WWCC), complete a Statutory Declaration, evidence of legal rights to work in Australia, and evidence of vaccination against COVID-19 (3 doses). Additionally, some roles will also require current AHPRA registration and/or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
Roles that are determined to be Risk Category A or B [staff that have direct and/or indirect contact with body substances and are at higher risk of occupational exposure to infections] will be required to provide evidence of immunisation assessment including Influenza prior to commencement [A] or within 12 weeks of commencement [B]. This is in accordance with the Victorian Minister of Health Mandatory Vaccination Orders for COVID-19 and legislated requirement for influenza vaccination.
