About the Role

You will lead the engagement with key media, associations and community partners to seek to build the profile of MMAL and its executive staff. With responsibility for our internal and dealer communications programs, you will manage the development of engaging content for our website, intranet, social media plans and email updates, and lead the key internal events for the year.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver internal communications, including company news and updates, engaging social media content, and for corporate events
  • Devise a strategy to engage media and industry bodies, cultivating relationships with key contacts to encourage positive media interest and coverage
  • Manage communications with the dealer network through dealer bulletins and corporate events
  • Manage key relationships with community organisations to foster MMAL's corporate social responsibility priorities
  • Collaborate with colleagues on social media strategy for corporate platforms and continually monitor industry-related activity that relate to our core business

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in a corporate communications or similar role
  • Proven track record in delivering effective communications and the development of strategic programs and activities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to devise compelling messages for diverse audiences and channels
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively at all levels of the organisation
  • Proficiency in working independently and ability to schedule and prioritise tasks
