This is an exciting opportunity to join a market leading Australian food manufacturing business, as a Project Engineer.
The CompanyOur client, a market leader in their category, are currently looking to recruit a Project Engineer to oversee their site in Burnie, TAS, who will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of operational projects through executing and delivering engineering projects on time, within budget and to the specification / scope.
The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Working autonomously and with project teams to manage the program of planned capital works.
- Delivering on end to end projects from initial stages to hand over and commissioning.
- Driving project objectives to a high standard within a defined framework of systems and processes.
In order to be successful in this role you will be:
- Qualified at a degree level in Mechanical, Electrical or Process discipline.
- Project engineering experience gained within a complex food manufacturing environment, leading multi discipline projects from start to completion.
- Strong leadership and influencing skills with the ability to motivate, influence and engage a broad group of stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of Project Management methodology and the ability manage, report on and execute complex capital projects.
