Now, we're on the hunt for a highly versatile Network Systems Engineer with current technology skillset to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
- Installing, configuring, testing, maintaining, and administering new and upgraded networks, software database applications, servers, and workstations
- Assessing and recommending improvements to network operations and integrated hardware, software, communications and operating systems
- Monitoring network performance and availability to identify and resolve any issues that may impact operations
- Installing and managing network security measures such as firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems to protect against cyber threats
- Analyzing and troubleshooting network and system issues to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
- Collaborating effectively with others and to resolve issues and improve service delivery
- Creating and maintaining relevant documentation for network system management
Qualification & Skills Required:
- Minimum a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- In-depth comprehension of network technologies including VLANs, VPNs, QoS, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and Group Policy
- Strong communication, documentation and time management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
