This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time, Fixed Term Part Time and Casual appointments, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency for Fixed Term appointments.

About this role

Grade 1: In this role, you will work within a multidisciplinary team context and under the approved supervision of a Clinical Neuropsychologist to perform clinical, consultant, educational and neuropsychological services for children and adolescents with conditions known to affect brain development. Duties include liaising with other professionals and agencies.

Grade 2: In this role, you will work within a multidisciplinary team context to perform clinical, consultant, educational and neuropsychological services for children and adolescents with conditions known to affect brain development. Duties include liaising with other professionals, agencies and schools and providing supervision to Clinical Neuropsychology Registrars/trainees as needed.

This role reports to the Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist Coordinator.

Eligibility to Apply:

Australian citizenship or permanent residency is an essential requirement for applicants to be considered for permanent positions in the public sector.

To be eligible for a fixed term appointment you must have documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the period of the contract.

Other Conditions:

This is an “open-ended” recruitment pool, and as such the following should be noted:

  • The panel will monitor this recruitment pool for applications and will assess on a regular basis.
  • Closing dates for each round of assessment are 14 January, 14 June and 14 October for the duration of the pool.
  • Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur.
  • Appointments may be made from this pool until 30/06/2026.

Progression: An appointee may progress to Clinical Psychologist Grade 2 upon successful completion of a Board approved supervised period of practice and gaining endorsement in Clinical Psychology with the Psychology Board of Australia.
