Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.

Position Profile: We are currently seeking to appoint a Coordinator Stroke.

The Coordinator Stroke is responsible for the development, implementation, coordination and evaluation of stroke care for patients in the Region. This includes leadership and co-ordination
of the patient journey involving metropolitan and rural sites, through the acute and sub-acute phases. Service development including staff education and quality improvement initiatives in line with up to date evidence based practice in stroke care. Provides a stroke care consultation service to staff across the region.
