Opportunity:

The City of Albany is looking for a dynamic, eager and professional Administration Officer for an immediate start. You will be a vital support figure, collaborating closely with the Executive Assistant to the CEO and the Personal Assistant to the Mayor and Councillors. We are seeking a proactive individual, enthusiastic and open-minded, eager to embrace diverse responsibilities and challenges.

This role promises excitement, diversity, and a fast-paced environment, where you'll play a pivotal role in providing assistance and confidential administrative support to the CEO Team, Executive Directors, Officers, Councillors and members of the public. Occasional work on public holidays and after hours will be necessary for this role. If you're a professional with a can-do attitude, ready to embrace any challenge with enthusiasm, this opportunity is perfect for you.

About You:

The successful candidate will need;

  • Experience providing administrative support;
  • Excellent organisation, time management and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise competing activities under pressure and to deadlines;
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain an exceptional level of confidentiality;
  • Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Advanced computer skills with a well-developed knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook;
  • Well-developed teamwork skills;
  • Excellent customer service skills and commitment to the delivery of exceptional customer service; and
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
