Reporting to the Membership Manager the Market Research Specialist improves MIGA’s understanding of their customers, their life stages, their needs and wants and their views on MIGA’s performance.
Role & Responsibilities
Design, implement, execute and report on a comprehensive market research program
Survey key client segments to understand their life stages
Monitor brand awareness
Plan and conduct research on competitor benefits and compile data for benchmarking
Implement and report on ongoing client engagement and satisfaction scores
Collect and assimilate data, through modern and traditional methods, on clients and competitors
Forecast market trends to improve member engagement
Share and present market research reports
Skills & Experience
Tertiary qualifications in marketing, management studies or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience working in similar role
Proven experience in planning, directing and undertaking detailed market research, client surveys and analysing and interpreting both quantitative and qualitative data
Experience in managing external research service providers
Proven market research experience either in-house or with a market research agency
Proven knowledge of data collection methods, statistical packages (SPSS, SAS, etc,), CRM and other databases
Working knowledge of data warehousing, modelling and mining (desirable).
Experience working in a medical or related organisation (desirable)
