1 x Permanent Part Time - 18 hours, 2 days per week (Friday & Saturday – 6:00am to 3:30pm)
Liverpool City Council is looking for a 1 x part time (POS 2418) Operative for our Community Recycling Centre to work in the Waste and Cleansing Department located at Council’s Operation Centre. This facility provides the community with a free and convenient way of dropping off their problem wastes for environmentally friendly recycling.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a CRC Operative you will have experience in the Customer Service, Operations, Administrative requirements, and that are carried out in a cost effective, time effective manner to a high-quality standard within the scope of skills and competencies.
You will have demonstrated experience and working as part of a team and knowledge of Work, Health and Safety (WHS) practices, the principles of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), ethical practice and multi-cultural diversity. Manual handling skills are also required, and the successful applicant must have a flexible attitude towards responsibilities and hours of work.
Salary will be dependent upon the relevant skills, experience, and competencies of the successful applicant.

Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate their competency in the following essential areas:
- Forklift Licence
- General Construction WHS (White Card)
- Implement Traffic control and Implement Traffic control plans tickets (or in the process of obtaining them)
- Demonstrated forklift experience in residential areas.
- Experience in waste removal.
