The City Development Department delivers a range of services, in collaboration with the community, that shape the development of the City.
The role:
As the successful candidate you will use and develop your skills to provide advice to stakeholders on a range of planning matters and negotiate positive development outcomes across the City.
Duties:
- Assess a diverse range of development applications
- Determine applications under delegated authority
- Prepare reports for consideration for the Council Assessment Panel
- Provide planning advice to various stakeholders
Specialist Skills & experience:
- Qualifications in Planning
- Knowledge of the relevant legislation
- Highly developed communication and negotiating skills
- Effective team collaborator
