We currently have an opportunity for an energetic Leisure & Lifestyle Team Leader to join us on a Permanent Full –Time basis at our Ascot Waters Home.

About the opportunity:

With the evolving needs of our residents we are looking to continue to strengthen and build on our Leisure & Lifestyle program. This role needs to deliver a comprehensive Leisure & Lifestyle program for our residents. The role will work closely with our Food Service team and our Client Relationship Manager with strong guidance from the Home Manager.

What You Will Do:

  • Provide and deliver a comprehensive Leisure & Lifestyle program for our residents
  • Review our residents’ lifestyle needs and provide individual plans
  • Develop and implement community programs
  • Lead, develop and support our Leisure & Lifestyle team including volunteers
  • Report on a monthly basis the lifestyle activities
  • Conduct surveys and audits and collate the results

What You Will Bring:

  • Strong ability to utilise community support programs
  • Experience in leading and managing Leisure & Lifestyle within Aged Care
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Aged Care standards
  • Knowledge and experience delivering a program for residents living with Dementia
  • Certificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle
  • Demonstrated experience in using Microsoft Office and IT systems
  • Monthly reporting, data analysis and undertaking of resident surveys

Essential Requirements:

  • Current Police check clearance (or willing to obtain)
  • Proof of Work rights in Australia
  • Proof of COVID Vaccination certificate (2 doses + booster dose)
  • Proof of Flu vaccination (current year)
