Exciting, arts and events company looking for a Food and Beverage Manager to lead operations across Australia.

Woods & Co Recruitment have partnered with this is an internationally recognised Arts and Events Company, with over 20 years’ experience. They produce and manage events, theatrical productions, performers, and venues throughout Australia and internationally and are well respected and renowned for our unique ‘catch your breath’ style

The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the business including the operational success of various bars, in both permanent venues and temporary festival precincts, providing a first class hospitality experience for customers and theatre goers.

Working with the Creative Director & Executive Producer, you will drive and identify revenue, product and patron experience enhancement opportunities. You will curate food and beverage menus for a range of venues and temporary events. It will be critical that you have a strong focus on developing your team to create a positive and productive work environment; building, motivating and upskilling them to foster a culture of excellence and ensuring a high standard of patron satisfaction.

What do you do?
  • Develop and implement successful business strategy with a strong focus on finance, analytics and business acumen
  • Overseeing all the F&B operation in permanent and temporary venues
  • Drive a high standard of service excellence and ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Deal and negotiation with stakeholders an suppliers on the best beverage offerings
  • Ensure compliance across all statutory, HSE standards, procedures, and processes, prioritising the safety and well-being of both patrons and staff
  • Overseeing all areas of the food and beverage operation, revenue, expenditure, profitability, and performance against budget
  • Understand wage percentages, COGs, P&L, wastage in line with budgets
What do you need?
  • Proven track record of achieving financial targets and delivering exceptional customer service management and compliance with industry regulations
  • Minimum 3-5years of experience in hospitality management, preferably in a high-volume
  • and entertainment focused environment
  • Flexible working irregular hours including nights and weekends
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu development, inventory
  • Ability to implement and maintain structure within the SOPs and training schedules If required
  • Willingness to be part of an enthusiastic and motivated team and lead by example
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Conflict resolution and negotiation skills are essential
  • Fluent Written and verbal communication skills
  • Want to work long term and progress your career with the business
