About the role:
Your main duties will be project based & working with the requirements needed to successfully deliver the expected works. Works may include basic admin, WHSE reporting & project supervision. You will be required to report to the Project Supervisor when required & deliver all task to successfully complete the scheduled works.
Your day may include:
- Read electrical, architectural and mechanical diagrams or drawings.
- Plan appropriate layouts for electrical wires and wiring systems.
- Identify the right electrical equipment for a particular job.
- Install lighting, power outlets, conduits, cable trays, ladder racks, circuit breakers and emergency lighting.
- Carry out fault-finding.
- Test, repair and maintain electrical equipment.
- Connect electrical equipment and appliances.
- Install motors and switchboards.
- Install automated electrical controls.
- Install voice and data cabling.
- Complete electrical projects by supervising installations; resolving design issues.
- liaise with Stakeholders as required.
- Travel when required.
About you:
- Current electrical licence (Australian).
- White card.
- Working at heights card (or the ability to obtain).
- Ability to work unsupervised as well as part of a team.
- Experience in Industrial / Commercial Environment is an advantage.
- Thorough knowledge of Safety Procedures / WHS Requirements.
- Excellent time management & problem solving abilities.
- Must be able to travel if required.
- Drivers licence.
