The role on offer requires a proactive and adaptable individual who can hit the ground running. The position will be responsible for the end to end accounts payable process along with other accounting related tasks.
Position Duties :
- Accounts payable; receiving, processing, and verifying invoices, and monthly accounts payable reports
- Accounts receivable; creating, processing, and sending out invoices, liaising with suppliers, placing orders, and managing purchase orders for project equipment and services
- PAYG and BAS calculations and lodgement
- Weekly pay run for 20+ employees
- Entry of time sheets and creation of associated tasks
- Responsible for providing day to day accounts support to management.
- Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested.
- Experience in accounts and/or bookkeeping.
- Experience in Xero, Xero/Projects
- Must have an understanding and knowledge of Accounts Receivable and payable.
- Microsoft office experience skills essential especially in MS word, MS excel.
- High attention to detail
- Must have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate clearly both in person and by phone.
- Must have fantastic time management skills, as the role is fairly autonomous, you will be required to manage and plan your own time effectively.
