Description:
As a strategic and creative thinker, you’ll use your proven ability to plan, develop and deliver vibrant digital marketing and content strategies across the department’s social media and digital channels to achieve strategic objectives.You'll work closely with media, online, communication and design officers within Strategic Communication and provide expert support and advice to inform integrated marketing and communication plans and drive development of informative and engaging social media experiences.
- Develop and deliver engaging, vibrant social media content and campaigns with a focus on digital storytelling across all channels to ensure the department's vision is communicated through social media channels.
- Measure, monitor, moderate and report on social media and digital marketing performance to increase engagement and content usability, accessibility and integration.
- Research best practices in public sector social media and identify opportunities to apply new technologies and processes to maximise performance and return on investment.
- Help develop and implement social media policies, protocols and standards as well as content and channel strategies.
- Work proactively and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, establishing relationships with government media contacts to lead and coordinate cross-agency outcomes.
