About the role
The role of Environmental Engineer Intern would be provided where which they would undertake several responsibilities over the duration of their placement.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assisting with data collection, analysis, and reporting for environmental impact assessments and feasibility studies.
- Conducting research and preparing technical documents on specific environmental engineering topics.
- Participating in site visits and field work, including air and water quality monitoring.
- Drafting and reviewing technical drawings and plans related to environmental infrastructure projects.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of sustainable design solutions.
- Building strong relationships with colleagues and clients, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Engineering degree (environmental or related field) with a strong academic record.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare concise and accurate technical reports.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a proactive and efficient work ethic.
- Demonstrated interest in environmental sustainability and a passion for solving environmental challenges.
- Basic computer skills in relevant engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, ArcGIS, MS Office Suite).
