Description:
Trinity Mining Services and Supplies is searching for an experienced Camp Manager/Chef to become a part of our client's team in Mullewa on a 3:1 roster. This thrilling FIFO position includes fly-ins to Geraldton on Thursdays and offers ongoing casual employment.
Your tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of our 40-man camp.
- Ensure the highest standards of camp hygiene are maintained.
- Handle camp accommodation bookings and worker registrations.
- Manage and monitor food orders to provide exceptional dining experiences.
- Supervise our dedicated camp staff.
- Contribute to general camp maintenance for a safe and comfortable environment.
Requirements
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or an equivalent qualification is required.
- Having completed Food Safety Supervisor Training is preferred.
- Prior experience as a Chef in a mass catering environment is highly desirable. FIFO chef experience is desired, but not essential.
- Experience in supervising a large number of staff.
- Ability to work autonomously and be flexible and adaptable.
- Must have a National Police Check.
- Full working rights in Australia are required.
- Successful completion of pre-employment medical and Lab DAS is necessary.
Benefits
- Pay rate is $50-$55 per hour depending on experience.
