Description:
We have an opportunity based in Katanning for an experienced Electrical Tradesperson for a permanent position.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of electrical and instrumentation services including installation, testing, maintenance, fault finding, repair and commissioning of all Water Corporation’s assets throughout the Region.
We are seeking an individual who takes ownership of their work area and is able to work effectively independently but also contributes to a positive team environment and safety culture.
What the role will involve :
- Performs scheduled and unscheduled (breakdown) maintenance in water / wastewater systems and installs electrical and instrumentation components
- Performs complex isolation and shutdowns
- Complex problem solving of water systems, wastewater systems and chemical dosing systems
- Participation in an active stand by roster.
Key skills and experience :
- Electrical Trade Certificate
- Instrumentation Certificate
- Relevant High Risk Licences
- Current Drivers Licence
- Demonstrated experience in PLC, SCADA and telemetry systems.
- Considerable trade experience in water supply and wastewater services.
- Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health requirements including hazard identification
