We are currently seeking experienced and passionate Chefs to join the group across multiple locations as the company expands.
As the portfolio grows, we are always looking for talented chefs to join the team! We are actively looking for chefs across several Hotels within regional locations in Queensland.
The Role
As a Chef, your daily responsibilities will include:
- Assisting our team in maintaining an efficient and proactive kitchen operation across both venues
- Ensuring all meals are of high quality and are prepared in a timely manner
- Utilising a variety of fresh, frozen and prepared ingredients to prepare, cook and present a range of dishes according to a seasonal menu
- Practicing effective stock rotation and wastage minimisation procedures
- Assisting with menu changes when required
To be successful in the role, you will possess the following:
- Previous experience within a fast paced commercial kitchen
- Availability to work any hospitality hours
- Ability to work well under a high pressure environment
- Brilliant communication skills to all team members
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery preferred but not essential
The successful candidate will be provided with the following:
- Full-time position on hourly rate, all overtime & weekend rates paid
