The Company
Robert Half is currently recruiting for an experienced Project Accountant / Analyst to take ownership of the financial reporting, costing and analysis within a high profile Client based in Melbourne's CBD.
This is initially a three month temporary / contract role but has the possibility to extend.
The Role
Working within a professional and dedicated finance team and having a close relationship with the Finance Manager your duties will include:
- Accurate and timely production of project costing reports
- Ensuring costs are allocated correctly to projects
- Accurately calculating and forecasting labour costs to projects
- Detailed monthly reporting
- Reconciliations
- Liaising with Project Managers and other Stakeholders
- Financial analysis
- Monthly variance analysis
Your Profile
To be successful in this role you will have worked autonomously within a large organisation analysing costs and have a strong understanding of accounting for projects.
You will be required to have proven analytical skills and have the ability to work across all levels of an organisation.
You will be system savvy and have an advanced level of Excel.
